Gifted Assessment

A gifted assessment is a comprehensive evaluation designed to identify advanced cognitive abilities and exceptional learning potential. This assessment goes beyond high academic performance to understand how an individual thinks, reasons, and processes information.

Through standardized cognitive testing, academic measures, and social-emotional screening, we examine areas such as verbal reasoning, visual-spatial skills, fluid reasoning, working memory, processing speed, and achievement. The goal is to identify patterns of strengths and relative vulnerabilities that often accompany gifted profiles, including asynchronous development, perfectionism, emotional intensity, or attentional challenges.

Our gifted assessments provide clear, meaningful insights that support appropriate educational planning, enrichment, and advocacy. Families receive practical recommendations to help ensure intellectual strengths are nurtured while social-emotional and learning needs are thoughtfully supported—both at school and at home.

These assessements are also necessary for school applictions to Wesmount Charter School and the GATE program through CBE.
