Isobella Lissel has over 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years in a specialized private school for learning disabilities. Most of her teaching has been in elementary classrooms, though she has also supported high school and university students in their English studies. With many years of tutoring experience, Isobella brings a passion for creative writing and reading. She is available for virtual tutoring sessions, with the option of meeting up to twice per week and scheduling can be tailored to meet individual needs.
In addition to academic support, Bella can help strengthen executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, task initiation and study strategies. She uses checklists, visual planners, graphic organizers and step-by-step frameworks to help students break tasks into manageable parts to stay on track. By practicing these strategies during tutoring sessions, students not only complete their schoolwork more effectively but also build lifelong skills in independence and organization.
